Begin your amazing adventure with an afternoon welcome reception onboard your floating home, the AmaKristina ship, where you'll get acquainted with your Adventure Guides while enjoying delicious wines paired with Switzerland's most famous export: cheese! Later that evening, you'll meet your fellow adventurers at the Captain's Welcome Cocktail & Dinner event where you'll enjoy traditional Swiss fare before setting sail.
Enjoy two adventure-filled days in the riverfront village of Strasbourg, where you'll sample the region's exquisite flavors with activities that include a walking and tasting tour of Riquewihr, an Alsatian wine tasting that includes a visit to a local vineyard and a wine tasting experience in a cave situated in a medieval basement. There is also a hands-on cooking class where you'll learn to make French macarons.
Experience three amazing German cities and the savor the rich and delicious flavors they offer. Stroll through the region's legendary Adolf Störzel Vineyards, enjoy a wine tasting and demo of the flavors of the Rhine and get a sense of local brews with a brewery and pub tour of Cologne. Adventurers can also tantalize their taste buds with a spaghetti ice cream demonstration and tasting, as well as a divine chocolate workshop at legendary chocolaterie Jan von Werth.
Explore the flavors of famed Dutch cheeses as you learn about the Volendam region's cheese production. For those with a thirst for adventure, you won't want to miss the Heineken Experience, where you'll tour the famous brewery and learn about how they have brewed their famous beer for over a century.
